About Room-by-Room (UK) Ltd
With over 30 years experience working within architecture and construction, Andrew May, the founder and director of Room-by-Room (UK) Ltd will personally ensure your project receives the attention to detail our past and present customers expect from the company.
Andrew joined supermarket giant Tesco Stores Ltd in the late 1980's attending day release college for higher education and working full time to further his career. In 1999 Room-by-Room (UK) Ltd was created and in 2000 Andrew was head hunted and joined Dixons Stores Group on a rolling contract until 2002 when he made the jump to work full time for himself.
In the early years Room-by-Room (UK) Ltd offered planning and building regulations drawing work but some clients wanted more. The company began to expand the services offered and today we provide our customers with the same solid architectural design and drawings services as well as project management, site supervision and a complete bespoke design and build service.
Currently, we are constructing a beautiful bespoke 50 sq m cabin with cedar cladding and a natural slate roof which we gained planning consent on earlier this year.
We would be delighted to receive invitations to meet you and provide a fee proposal for your proposed residential project.

Floors becoming un level and lines appearing Architecture
Although no actual work was done, the advice Andrew gave me was fantastic. I suffer anxiety and he was absolutely brilliant when it came to explaining what needed to be done in a way that calmed my fears. He explained to me in detail what was happening to the floorboards and explained what needed to be done and explained that I would need a carpenter as they would be better for what needs to be done. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Excellent service by Andrew, talked us through the process and designed a plan to accommodate our needs and desires for the extension whilst also getting it through the planning process. Can’t praise him enough.
