    He grasped what we wanted to be done and understood what we were trying to achieve.
    Phil and his team then carried out the work quickly, efficiently and at the price quoted. We also had a few extra bits and pieces added onto it which were also reasonably priced.
    They are a good group of lads, self-sufficient and just get on with the job which is exactly what you want.
    We will definitely be using them again, and I’ve already recommended them to family and friends.

The work was carried out quickly and above expectations, throwing in for free a few other small jobs and some excellent advice on upkeep for other trees present. We agreed for him to start the job at 9am the following morning. Bang on 9 Phil was here and ready to commence work. the work was complete in little over an hour with no distraction to myself or neighbors. After he had finished Phil took all of the waste with him and tidied up. Great job, great service and very personable. I have passed his details to my neighbors and would recommend this service to anyone who is looking for a great tree surgeon.

    Worst mybuilder experience so far, Philip arranged with us to come and do the job of removing a number of trees and did not show up to do the work, excuses were made by him and I gave him the benefit of the doubt and arranged for him to come and carry out the work the following week, AGAIN he did not show up. I wasted two days which i took off from work. Fed up I placed the job on another building trade website and was contacted by Philip AGAIN, unbeknown to him he had requested again to quote for a job he already failed to carry out on two previous occasions when i pointed this out to him he proceeded to verbally abuse me shouting profanities and language I would not dare write on here, but which I recorded every word of should he deny he's unacceptable behaviour. Unprofessional, untrustworthy and disrespectful, definently do not use!

    The job was straight forward – remove a 25ft conifer from a rear garden in 3 hours. Philip and his assistant were amiable and professional. They used the correct safety equipment – PPE – and carried the work correctly, quickly, efficiently and cleaned up afterwards. Good guys both.

    I highly recommend Reak Oak Tree Surgeons. They are professional, proficient and personable. They called ahead to inspect the trees and job before giving a quote, and then gave a very competitive quote on the spot. After seeing that I was hoping to get this job done before subsequent garden work, they were able to return within two days to carry out the work as agreed. 

    In a few years, I expect I'll need to hire someone to cut down part of a very large oak tree that is encroaching onto a neighbouring property, and Real Oak Tree Surgeons will be the company I call.

    Do not use this company - they are completely unreliable and a bunch of cowboys. Phil came and quoted the removal of some trees from our back garden which we accepted without negotiation. Him and his team arrived to carry out the job on the Monday morning but after an hour they hadn’t started. Phil then knocked to say one of his tools wasn’t working and would start another day and proceeded to pack up the van to leave. We asked him to start that day anyway and come back to finish the job when he had all the equipment as the tool he was missing did not impact the first part of the work. We even agreed to do part payment. He said he would go and get the tool and would be back in 30 mins. He left, with his team, and we never saw him again. I have called him on several occasions but his phone was switched off immediately after he disappeared.

    I have never come across someone so dishonest in their treatment of a client. We waited for him to come back as he told us he was a man of his word. Avoid.

    Morning Chris.
    I would like to start by apologising for the way you feel.
    You have Mis used the term cowboys to describe our professional highly skilled company.
    Which you can clearly see via pictures of other work we have carried out.
    The term cowboy would imply we carried out work to a shoddy standard at an inflated price.
    You didn’t part with a penny of your money nor did we touch the trees.
    Would you have been happier with a job half finished? Or a job that we said we now couldn’t unfortunately start due to unforeseen circumstances!
    It came to Phils attention that the machine available was not working correctly. He informed you of this and said he was uncomfortable to start a job that he wasn’t able to see through to the end and would prefer to start if and when a machine adequate enough to complete the work could be located (hired)
    Phillips phone was not switched off on leaving! We tend not to let customers know what goes on behind the scenes and stay as professional as possible at all times. We was unfortunately broken into on Sunday evening the night before the work was due to start at your property, the phone (in the 4x4) along with a 4x4 and machinery including the stump grinder was stolen during this break in. The phone was blocked from first thing Monday morning, it should however be back on this afternoon when the new phone/sim arrives.
