the reliable builder

Paul has done a fantastic job of our porch. My husband and I had ideas of what we wanted based on what we had seen on other properties, but he came up with an idea that was totally unique and in keeping with our old character property and was so much better!
He sorted out the lighting as part of the work so he is able to do the electrics too.
He took great care in choosing the right materials for the job. When the door arrived from the supplier sub-standard he refused to fit it and demanded from the supplier that they provide another quality door instead. This meant him delaying finishing the work but he said he would rather do that than deliver something he wasn't happy with. He charged us no extra money for that despite having to come back at a later date.
It looks great now and is well fitted and keeps out the cold - looks great and very well made.
I thought the price of the work was very reasonable given the amount of work and effort they put into it.
Paul and his workmate John were no trouble whilst they were here. I was working from home and needed to get on and work. They were very self-sufficient and thoughtful about me doing my work whilst they did theirs. It was lovely having them here.
We are now looking to utilise Paul's skills on a completely different job - fixing the cellar ceiling. Paul has so many skills I think he can build and fix just about anything! I would happily recommend Paul for any building work.
