About P.D Spry Decorators

On leaving school at fifteen, I served a five year painting and decorating apprenticeship, with a Mr A.L. Gould in Portsmouth, and continued to work for him until he retired in 1977.

I then worked as a 'grade A' painter in H.M. Dockyard, which included painting the Royal Yacht Britannia. On being made redundant I started my own business, carrying out contacts of McCarthy and Stone, Peveral Management, Portsmouth City Council, East Hampshire Council, Portsmouth Housing Association and Drum Housing Association, care homes, schools, Arundel Cathedral, Windsor Palace, Leaders Letting Agents, GA Properties Letting Agents, and many private customers all of which were impressed with the standard of work, cleanliness and competitive prices.

Recently I worked for Radian housing association carrying out painting, decorating, plastering and maintenance on social housing accommodation.
Since moving to Gloucester I have carried out work for many properties ranging from a modern house in Quedgeley to a Tudor manor house in Blakeney.
