I started my apprenticeship when I left the school fortunately with my Dad. I have been very fortunate to experience work on new builds and old renovations from start to finish. I have also worked on traditional roofs where I gained a lot of experience cutting rafters by hand plumb cuts skew cuts forming valleys hips dormers all from scratch very enjoyable joinery work. I do all aspects of joinery from making and erecting timber frame kits, extensions, conversions to fitting kitchens & bathrooms, pvcu windows and doors. I have worked all over scotland building one off houses from start to finish big projects with tight deadlines. Working along with local councils engineer's architects providing all the trades required to do the job in hand and most importantly a comfortable and relaxing service for the customer at very competitive prices. We also specialise in preservation work which can be a worrying time for the customer at Penn Joinery & Property Preservation we supply all the up to date chemicals and cut no corners on eradacating rot/dampness etc with a 30 year insurance backed labour & materials guarantee available at very competitive prices. The majority of our work is from word of mouth so we like to take new customers to show them our work jobs big or small as we feel its the best way to let new customers know exactly what the end product will be like.
