About Pascoe Tree and Garden Services
Pascoe Tree and Garden Services has been established for 3 years and I have 8 years work experience in the field of conservation, trees and landscaping.
We are a small family run business that prides itself on a personal approach towards individual customers needs, while also bringing our values of care and sustainability for trees and the environment in our approach and practical application. We have recently moved to Scarborough with my wife's job. But have a history of working throughout the North of England from Cumbria through Lancashire and of course across the pennines all over Yorkshire.
Our business has worked with many individual customers, helping to maintain their trees and landscapes for the future. We often find that one off contracts to care for a tree often leads to regular maintenance and repeat work looking after the whole landscape.
We have a wildlife and sustainability philosophy which we try and incorporate into our work, balancing the needs of the people with those of the wider natural world.
Our work has also included woodland and estate management projects as well as working for York Childcare Trusts, Heather's Nursery.
Qualifications
BSc in Outdoor Studies
National Proficiency Test Council (NPTC) CS 30,31,38 and 39
Immediate Temporary Care first aid qualification.
8 years experience caring for trees.
Over 20 years of garden maintenance and conservation projects.

Matthew Pascoe has worked for me for 3 years on a regular basis. His job has been to maintain my garden in York. The garden is an old English garden with flower and fruit beds, an ornamental pond and lawns and he has done all the work to maintain it. He is reliable, hardworking and professional, and he plans his work well, working around the weather to make sure the job is done. The fact that he is knowledgeable about trees as well as plants means that he is able to take on pruning and planting of trees as well. He works well with or without supervision. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Matthew.

Matthew has worked with trees and shrubs in my garden for several years. The work has involved pruning, felling, landscaping and invaluable advice to help me maintain a garden which is attractive to people and wildlife. Matthew has a professional and friendly manner and I have been happy with all his work from initial discussions and work in progress to clearing up and building a woodpile to see me through the winter. We agreed a price at the outset and then discussed costs for extra work that I kept finding. I like the fact that Matthew wants to do a great job for his client while prioritizing care for the environment.
