About Collective Construction

I left school when i was 15 and started working with my dad straight away who had his own carpentry business and workshop. I was working with him for over 4 years where I learn't everything from building sash window frames to laying hardwood flooring. I then started a tiling apprenticeship where I learned the in's and out's of tiling from using a wet and a dry tile cutter to an angle grinder. The majority of work was in bathrooms when I first started to learn the basics of plumbing from disconnecting toilets to ripping out complete bathroom suites and putting back as new. Then when I had finished my apprenticeship I started a City & Guilds Level 2 course in plumbing where I learned everything from bending pipes to installing hot water cylinders. During my collage course i started working for Masters at Carpentry Ltd. Masters at Carpentry specialize in cost effective house refurbishments, shop fits (maintenance) and extensions carried out by a team of qualified and highly skilled tradesmen. Masters at Carpentry are also affiliated members of the Federation of Master Builders and Institute of Master Carpenters. I travel all around the UK fitting shops for West Cornwall Pasty Co and Patisserie Valerie that are 2 very high end high street shops. When we were not shop fitting, we were working on big domestic projects such as new build projects, loft conversions, refurbishments and general building and maintenance (West Cornwall Pasty Co and Patisserie Valerie). I now own my own company and have done for the last 6 years. I get lots of work threw word of mouth and have two builders merchants that recommend me highly. I believe that there is no better form of advertisement then word of mouth and always leave the customer 100% satisfied.
