About M Power & Sons Limited (Stonemasons)

M Power & Sons is a Stonemasonry Company which has been created to service the Midlands area. As the Proprietor, I have twenty years experience in the Masonry and Memorial field and would like to apply the values and standards of excellence acquired whilst working for the Commonwealth War Graves Commission to this new venture.
I have now returned to running my own business and undertaking most of the work myself with a small dedicated team of qualified craftsmen. M Power & Sons undertake all forms of stonework, sculpture, stonecleaning, stone repairs, restoration, new stone buildings and drystone walling. We can source stone from all over the UK and Europe to create the exact repair or replacement to a listed building or monument.

    Martin and partner Lee were a delight to have on sight to clear up and repair the incredible damage to our dry stone wall and our garden caused by a drunk driver.. We were lucky to find them at exactly the time when they had received a cancellation and so they were able to start the work almost immediately. What luck for us.
    The quality of the work was exceptional and the repaired wall now looks better than before. We feel so lucky to have found them and would recommend them to anyone. Just to add, they were both very friendly, reassuring, polite and certainly entertaining. Thanks Martin and Lee.

  • Repair and repoint stone wall.

    I cannot recommend Martin Power highly enough. He came promptly and assessed the wall that my surveyor had said needed repair and explained what needed doing. His quotation was the highest of three I received but I had confidence in him and his experience. He and his team did a wonderful job particularly as, once started, the wall proved to be very unstable. Four days later I had a beautifully rebuilt and repointed wall. The site was left immaculately clean.
