I would not use or recommend Mustapha again. He shouted at me twice and did not understand how to properly wire the immersion timer he suggested I install, causing a surge/spark/burn in the unit to which my electrician was witness.

Mustapha was quick to call and arrange an appointment. He found and fitted the part that was required, fine.

Mustapha then suggested I fit an electronic timer to my immersion boiler and I agreed. However, Mustapha fit the timer incorrectly meaning the boiler was constantly heating and the timer was not working. Mustapha agreed to come back and fix it another day, fine.

I paid Mustapha that evening for the replacement part and the labour towards that. I held back payment for the timer as this job was not completed satisfactorily. Mustapha then proceeded to call me and raised his voice over the phone arguing I did not trust him and I was withholding payment. I advised I am happy to pay for the work completed and would pay the rest once the timer was fixed.

Mustapha came back and tried to fix the timer. He then proceeded to tell me the timer was fitted correctly and needed an isolator switch. When I challenged him saying the timer is an isolator in itself, he raised his voice at me again and pretty much shouted at me. I had an electrician on site at the same time who agreed with what I was saying.

After some more time and several attempts, Mustapha re-wired the timer and finally got it to work.
