  • Replicate a Victorian fireplace with arch

    Steve built me a complete new fireplace, chimney and flue in reclaimed bricks and pointed in the traditional lime mortar, the original was removed from ground floor to loft..I wanted this all replacing in the style befitting a Victorian cottage..he made a beautiful arch and the brickwork looks aged, he even tiled the hearth in old quarry tiles..I’m so happy with the finished result, it looks stunning and most importantly it looks as though it’s been there for more than 130 years..I would recommend Steve 100% he did for me what other builders said wasn’t possible..that is testament to his skill, he took pleasure in seeing my growing joy as day by day the heart of my little house was finally being returned..Thank you Steve, what you created makes me smile every day..best wishes Ann, Glyn and the fur kids..
