About Marc Lewis Kitchen & Bathroom Installations

Competed an apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery, before moving on to bathroom installation with the plumber from the same company.

My next job was high class kitchen installation with a company in my home town of Marlow for 2 years.

I then started my own business in Henley on Thames and carried out larger projects in extensions etc in Henley and the surrounding areas. I later moved back into kitchen's and bathroom's and have now been working in this area for over 20 years. I like and carry out challenging jobs that a majority of tradesman would not even quote for. I class myself as a perfectionist.

I also take on property maintenance and pride myself on respect and good customer service. Something my mother and father taught me, as they ran their own business in Marlow for close to 40 years.

My current public liability insurance with Direct Line. Policy number 100 321 997

Qualifications

Carpentry & Joinery apprenticeship for 4 years

City & Guilds Part 1 & 2 in Carpentry & Joinery.

City & Guilds Part 1 & 2 in Electrical installation.

I was allocated a position after my apprenticeship to work alongside my companies main plumber. I started off at the bottom end by lifting floorboards, cutting joists for pipes and fitting boards back down etc. After my 3 years working with him, he taught me all aspects of bathroom plumbing and I became very capable and proficient. So much so that my company use me to install all of their bathrooms after our main plumber retired. I carried on working with my first company for another 2 years, before moving on to a high class kitchen company in Marlow. I worked with them for 2 years, before starting out on my own. I have been working for myself ever since.

I carried out a night school course in tiling 15 years ago and have been tiling ever since. I now tile to a very high standard.

I try to carry out most aspects of the installation in house and only use when required, 3rd party plasterers.

If you want a quality job and have a realistic budget, you do not have to look any further.

Regards

Marc
