Mark Evans, kitchen fitter/electrician, 30 years in electrical/building trade. I have been an electrician for 30 years. 8 years ago after doing the electrics for kitchen fitters i decided i wanted to set up a one stop shop kitchen fitting service for customers, i do the fitting of the kitchen,electrics, plumbing, tiling, small amount of plastering and decorating, if there is enough plastering or tiling i use my trusted contractors, i project manage the whole job for you taking the hassle out.

since qualifying I have worked in the electrical/building trade/industry covering domestic, industrial and commercial electrical work and kitchen fitting. Most of my work for the first 15 years was wiring new or old houses, schools and, repairs to domestic and industrial electrical installations, i have spent the last 15 years working in the kitchen fitting industry doing the wiring for the kitchens, fitting new fuseboards etc. For the last 8 years i have also been fitting my own kitchens and converting rooms to kitchens as i have the skills to remove walls install steels, electrics and i can do enough plumming to get me through minor plumming works. I have lots of contacts in the building industry including, plummers/plasterers/carpenters/bricklayers etc, when there is something i need help with.
I use all the best tools available and i have a reliable van.

TO SAVE THE CUSTOMER UNNECCESARY SPENDING
Always give customers all the options including pros/cons and cost, total transparency is what I aim for. show all materials/parts receipts. do not mark up/add profit onto materials/parts. I know where to buy materials/parts from at the best price and 90% of the time, unless logistically uneconomical plan ahead to ensure best prices.
All electrical works requiring certification by law are accompanied with relevant paperwork to comply with legislation. (electrical completion certificates and where relevant in domestic premises building control regulations electrical certificates)
NICEIC are approved by the Government to register electricians that are allowed to carry out electrical works in the home under Part P of the Building Regulations.

I have been an niceic approved contractor for 15 years, niceic contractors work is inspected randomly annually by the niceic basically keeping us on our toes, also all our works are insured and guaranteed by the niceic. Councils/government/large building firms will not use electricians unless they are niceic registered.

Ability due to experience to see problems arising before they appear making it possible to deal with it before it is to late/costly.
I am also experienced when it comes to general building work including tiling small plumbing jobs like plumbing in showers, replacing immersion/water heaters or replacing old appliances ie toilets, sinks etc and i fit bathrooms and kitchens. I have always done my own houses up including the landscaping of the gardens fitting carpets hanging curtain rails/blinds, wooden floors, new skirting, dado rail etc and I have all the tools/plant to carry out all the works listed.
