About Lee Wren Architect

Full Architect's Services

As a registered architect and Chartered Member of the RIBA, I provide the complete set of architectural services for those seeking to create a new home or extend and renovate their existing home.
I help you achieve a beautiful but workable and cost-efficient design without jeopardising your aspirations.
You might not need me for the full project and that's OK, I'm here to make sure you start your project to the same high quality you mean to finish it.

Design Consultation

The initial design consultation is a thorough investigation of what you want and need, and how your budget can be best used.
I talk you through the process of creating your dream project, including how best to navigate the process of achieving consents.
The design is then modelled, drawn and presented to you. Nothing is rushed, the project doesn’t progress until you are satisfied.

Planning Applications

I create the architectural drawings and documents required to achieve all the forms of planning permission.
I guide you through the process, helping you to avoid potential pitfalls.

Building Regulations and Beyond

Most home improvements and building projects need some sort of permission. I advise you, prepare and submit the applications on your behalf.

Building Costs

I add value to your project and optimise your budget by understanding what is important to you and how design choices can impact the way you live.
I help with the tendering process, preparing the detailed information and reviewing builder's quotes, ensuring you are comparing like with like.

During Construction

I source forms of agreements and monitor the build so that it is completed according to the plans, and the timescale and cost set by you.

Qualifications

RIBA Advanced Diploma in Professional Practice in Architecture, Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).

BSc (Hons) General Architectural Studies, University of Bath.

I am a Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and my work has also been shortlisted, by them, for a regional design award.
