Tosh contacted us after we posted our job on my builder after years of trying to find a roofer and contacting various companies without result or getting quotes and then no one turning up when agreed! We had numerous issues of damp patches around the house which we had tried to figure out. Tosh spent time inspecting our roof to try and identify what was going on. He provided photos of the issues and various options for repair and discussed them thoroughly. He replaced our old bathroom roof and repaired the remaining issues. Providing photos of the repairs and a 10yr warranty on the work carried out. Really pleased with the work and really great idea of providing the before and after photo’s so we can see exactly what the problem was! I would highly recommend him! Friendly and knowledgeable, Tosh performed a thorough investigation of my roof and chimney leaks, taking photos showing the issues, and gave me a good quote.
He returned to carry out the work which was completed as per the quote and in the predicted time with more photos to show the work done.
Tosh was genuinely keen to get to the bottom of the sources of these two leaks where the causes were not at all obvious, also flagging up incorrect installation of a Velux window fitted some time ago.

Tosh came initially and had a look. He came back a couple of weeks later and has done a very thorough repair on an elderly slightly decrepit object (I'm talking about the roof). He provided detailed photographic before and after pics. So much better than "yes it's all done for you mate" from various other builders in the past. I recommend him.

Tosh is a very honest decent guy that does a great job. Thoroughly recommended. Given Tosh's feedback here and also on his website www.roofmot.com we just asked for his quote as he looked very reliable. His quote was extensive, reasonable and thorough with annotated pictures to illustrate. We had lots of loose tiles after the big storms last year and all the other roofers wanted to put expensive scaffolding up to fix just 10 of the tiles. Tosh is an insured climber and uses ladders so for same spend we had about 40-50 tiles fixed in 4 days, gutters cleaned and patched and not intrusive. Once the job started, Tosh sent us a daily photo update and progress report. Impressive and he's very self motivated.Tosh's final bill was exactly the same as his initial quote, not a penny over and with a 10 year guarantee. Refreshing. We look forward to working with him again, but it won't be for a while as he left our roof in great shape and with more years left in it thanks to his efforts. Covid 19 and other circumstances actually prevented us meeting in person at the ladder, but I feel very confident that you will be pleased to give your job to Tosh and we wish him all the very best, he's a great guy, to be trusted 100% and deserves every success. Tosh was the only roofer to access the roof before his quote, a distinct positive.
Thereafter it was a pleasure dealing with Tosh.
His quote was far more competitive than others due to the fact that he had the advantage of close visual inspection and therefore knew exactly what was required.
Tosh proceeded to replace all of the damaged roof tiles and repair all cracks on the chimney and parapet walls and painted stacks and walls with Sandtex paint.
Also he extended a downpipe to alleviate overflow into a neighbour's property and cleaned all gutters
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tosh for any roofing job.

Tosh got in touch quickly and was able to come round at short notice. Once here he provided details including pictures of the problem and the work that needed to be carried out to rectify the problem. His quote was by far the most competitive and honest which is why I didn't hesitate to get them to carry out the required work. The two guys are polite, honest and likeable guys who I'm now getting back to carry out other work on our property. With regards to the leaking roof only time will tell whether their solution has fixed our problem but I'm confident it has!

Tosh helped me out of a spot with a small hole in my roof that was causing a little damage. After we initially spoke on the phone he kept me updated and arrived in the time he informed. Quick response and photos taken on the roof to show the work needed, which was appreciated. On the basis of the experience so far, I would use Tosh again for roof work.

We originally engaged Tosh to repair our tiled & flat rooves(roofs) - this extended to the replacing and reseating the ridge tiles & inserts as well as barge boards and guttering. We then had an old concrete surfaced patio replaced and enlarged -along with the rusted main water supply pipe running underneath replaced.English weather ie wind and rain did hamper progress but all was completed -with the inevitable and multiple extras - in a timely manner, to a high standard and at a reasonable cost. I will have no hesitation getting Tosh back for our next project.

Happy with willingness and ability to tackle a fiddly job and solve a long-term problem at a reasonable price. Time will tell whether this is a complete solution, but have received a 20 year warranty for the work. Planning to employ again for further work.

The actual work done was more than stated in the job description title. I recently had a boiler installed which had left a mess outside with smudged cement and a cracked brick. Tosh fixed these problems and also sorted out some messy pointing which was having a negative affect on the appearance on the property. He also moved a redundant sky dish and burglar alarm and replaced some damaged bricks. The work was done on time and to a good standard and left in a tidy and clean state.

Phoned several roofers in Cheltenham - most did not reply, one promised to turn up and never did. Resorted to MyBuilder.com and found Tosh; he responded rapidly, surveyed the work and put in a temporary overnight fix before returning the next day to apply a permanent fix. Tosh carried out a detailed analysis of the leaking roof problem we had, and proposed and carried out a proportionate solution, at a reasonable price. Since the work was carried out, we haven't had any heavy rain, so it's impossible to say how successful it has been at this stage, but since it addressed the root cause of the problem, I have every confidence in its success.

This may look as though I've copied and pasted someone else's comments... We had water damage inside identified as a fault outside on the chimney by (non-paying) insurance firm. Tosh came quickly to quote sensible price and after a half day fiddling with mortar, silicon and flashing plus a cannibalised old car mat (!) I'm now not dreading the rain any more. Recommended, already discussing other jobs.

We required a number of our chimney stacks to be capped and repointed and also some lead flashings to be repaired.

The work was completed quickly and to an excellent standard. Despite the work being more extensive that first thought no additional labour was charged. In addition while the work was being carried out a number of other issues such as cracked tiles were identified and replaced again with no additional labour charge.

While the work was being carried out we were kept fully updated with progress and picture evidence of all the work and repairs was provided.
