About Sean Kane

Hi I'm Sean Kane and I have over 11 years experience working in the building trade. Since the beginning of 2014 I have started my own company "Kane Design and Build". In my 11 years experience I have worked for various companies. I started working at the age of 17 for a Carpenter and Joiner serving my apprenticeship, then going on to work for Classic Lofts London. During my time with Classic Lofts I constructed lofts starting with first fix stage which consists of the structural build of the loft, after a few years of doing that I then moved onto second fix carpentry, for which i was responsible for all the finished carpentry i.e.; stairs, doors, architrave, skirting custom build fitted wardrobes, sash windows, french doors and the list goes on...
Once leaving Classic Lofts i started working for Ray Jones Builders who specialise in property management and renovations. While working for Ray Jones Builders I was installing kitchens and taking on all other carpentry jobs, and it was here that I learnt how to install bathrooms. I am not a qualified plumber but I am more than confident in my plumbing skills after installing between 10-15 bathrooms in that time without any problems. During my time at Ray Jones Builders i was also responsible for garden carpentry works including decking, fencing and sheds.
However now in 2014 I have decided it is time for me to start my own building company.

Qualifications

I'm a time served carpenter with over 11 years experience. In my 11 years experience I've worked for a few companies. I started for a carpenter and joiner serving my "apprenticeship" for 4 years and he taught me a lot and since then I've worked for several different companies.
