    Did the paving quickly. Was the cheapest quote.
    However, after 5 months, when I step on one one of the slabs, I can hear the sand crunching and it's very slightly moving already. The slabs keep getting chipped, I've already replaced two and another 3 have chipped on the corners. there are weeds between every slab even though I was told there wouldn't be any as they are 'close together!'! However some of the slabs have shifted sideways as there is no edging to them...there is a big gap between two of the slabs where they've shifted and others are out of sync so not nicely as square as when layed. I am not strong enough to keep moving slabs back into place but I shouldn't have to after 5 months

    We had a quote from this company to make our garden disabled friendly for me which seemed reasonable so we decided to accept the quote he even knocked off £120 we wanted a raised bed along the back and side fence and the rest of garden patioed they started work the following week they removed the lawn and built the raised beds we did ask when he quoted us for the raised beds to be properly lined with a liner along the fences and sleepers to protect our neighbours fences he never used proper liner he just used plastic sand bags which was inaquedate we also asked him when quoted to fill raised beds with good topsoil he filled the beds with Crap soil which he got from a quarry which we found out way after when my mom and son emptied the beds to find great big lumps of tarmac of cuts of wood of the sleepers and other rubbish at the bottom of the beds the patio has got what looks like damp patches in the middle and become uneven and either sinking we was quoted the price of £2650 then he knocked it down to £2520 but then he said he need a concrete edging down one side next to shed he said that would cost £120 putting the price back to the quoted price but he never mentioned this when quoting us so that was a bit of a con when we contacted him it took me my partner and my mom ages to get him to take the soil away and pay us back £130 for the soil he has refused to do anything with the patio and says its wear and tear it is only 7 Months old this company is one big rip of be warned

    Hi Aidrian I’m sorry U feel that way about are company I let u pick the colour of the slabs and u did when u called me and said that the soil we put in was no good I came and removed 3 tonne of soil and payed u £130 to get some new soil I never ignored u I tried to help the best way I could it is not my fault that u didn’t like the slabs when they was layed if they was broken I would have replaced them but there was nothing wrong with the slabs u just didn’t like the colour that u picked so u wanted me to remove the slabs and pay out of my pocket to get a different colour slab witch wasn’t very fair on me .

    came out gave quote when he said he would that was a good start
    then rang me for feedback to see when he could start . gave me 3 times when he would start and never turned up then rang an hour later to say held up on another job
    quoted to do gutter repair and clean to front and back of house to my son but then made arrangements to come on a friday morning at 9.30am/10am turned up at 4/4.30pm and only cleaned front guttering and charged me £80 for half a job . please be carefull

We had to ask them to re-do much of the work throughout the day as it was not straight and/or not what we asked for. We have had to employ another firm to finish off the pointing and grouting work.     Joe made a good job of rebuilding my damaged wall, and also fixed a line of edging bricks which needed doing, but had not been quoted for. He did not clear up as thoroughly as I would have liked, but given that the job was completed on the hottest July day on record, and he was clearly suffering from heat exhaustion, I can forgive him for that, and will be asking him to quote for further jobs in the future.

    Hi is a friendly honest chap. I hired him to finish off a roof to a former roof which was left unfinished from a previous Builder. Jo didn’t hesitate to complete the jobs when others made a big deal over it. He was reasonably priced and kept to the timescales to complete the job.     Jo offered a good price for our new flat roof and was able to start quickly. He came promptly and worked very hard in the heatwave weather. We had a couple of minor issues to sort out afterwards which Jo responded to promptly. He was friendly and professional. The roof has stood up to recent rain and is not leaking and we are pleased with the job.

    Joseph is a friendly guy and came to look at my job to give me a quote. I accepted the quote and Joseph then arranged for the work to be done within 3 days. He explained what would need to be done, who would actually do the work and when. Joseph arrived with another colleague - on time and showed his colleague the work. He also oversaw all the work as it was being completed.     Jo came across a professional tradesman who provided detailed thorough advice and what needed to be done to sort the issue permanently. It was good to see his team going out of way and saved me spend £250 on scaffolding by using alternative measures.

    Overall, I am very satisfied with the work done by Jo and his team and surely will use him for my further projects.

  • Roof repair

    The roof repair was done very poorly after further inspection. There was clear daylight visible between the slates internally (no felt had been installed below or overlapping of tiles.) It also obviously leaked. I repeatedly called and was promised there would be a return visit on a number of occasions to rectify but no one actually turned up.

    Would highly recommend JTB Roofing. They advised me on the best approach for fixing the leaking corrugated roof and provided me with a very fair quote. They turned up as arranged the following day to undertake the repairs. The guys fully tested the repaired roof (using my hose pipe!). My leaking guttering was also fixed.

    All the work was carried out in a very timely and professional manner - very happy customer.
