A good start, but quickly apparent that there was little regard for our property, when they didn't use nets or chutes for rubble and instead threw large pieces of mortar off the roof edges on both sides, causing quite a lot of damage to two oak porches, various large patio planter pots, wall pots and lights. I was often concerned that the rubble would hit me.
House also internally damaged both upstairs and downstairs due to leaking, which has only continued to worsen since the work was completed. This includes electrics also.
Left extensive rubble in the guttering and down pipes, causing them to overflow and also split due to the rubble inside them.
Bill paid with mention of damaged lights. John didn't refund in full. We later asked John for reimbursement for the damaged items, including the electrical work required, but John declined to reimburse.
The work is substandard, roof tiles have also shifted and slid down the roof since finished.
Mortar work is also of a very poor quality/ uneven.
The ridge tiles are uneven and wonky, with mortar knocked off an existing other roof also, which they used as a scaffolding platform and has caused numerous cracked tiles.
It has not been a job that was completed in a satisfactory manner, also smoking on site in the hay store.
We paid a lot of money to have a job completed to a good standard, and as it stands our roof has been leaking throughout the job and continues to do so. We're currently considering our legal options.
