About Joe Bath

Having just finished a 2-year sympathetic renovation of my Victorian family home in Linthorpe, Middlesbrough, which hadn't been touched for over 40 years, I am now looking to use my expertise and wide-ranging experience to help anyone with a property-related issue that needs fixing.

Born and bred in Middlesbrough, I initially trained as a teacher, then ran a number of small building and maintenance companies in the South West and North East. Throughout this time, my wife and I bought and renovated numerous properties around the country from houses, flats and shops (terraced and semi-detached, including rental properties), a 200 year old longhouse, centuries old Dorset cottage, disused church and chapel - to a derelict ancient thatched farmhouse and a manor house.

There are very few jobs that I haven’t done over my 40 years of work experience, including - rebuilding a cob house, designing and building house/loft extensions, major/minor structural repairs/alterations, brick laying, block paving, concreting, plumbing, painting and decorating, garden design and landscaping, plastering and plaster-boarding, lime rendering, carpentry, welding, cleaning and waste removal, etc.

When necessary I team up with a qualified electrician and together we can undertake all forms of electrical work, from changing a consumer unit to a full house rewire, along with all the necessary remedial plastering, painting and decorating that may be required afterwards.

Because of my broad experience across all trades, I'm pretty good at finding creative and cost-effective ways of solving problems for my customers. I will do everything I can to ensure that you are delighted with the finished work. I can help source and collect items if you require my assistance, and I will always clear away rubbish and leave the work site in a clean and safe condition.

All my work is 100% guaranteed - this means that you don't pay unless you are completely satisfied. I have never let a customer down and will always go the extra mile to ensure that the job is finished on time and as promised.

I look forward to hearing from you. Joe.
