I have been a self employed kitchen installer for 26 years. I was originally a cabinet maker for 7 years and then decided to specialise in kitchen installation. I am also a qualified part P electrician and gas safe registered plumber. I pride myself on good communication and high standards. I specialise in all types of kitchen installation from flat-pack to bespoke. Typically I work for Magnet kitchens 2-3 weeks a month, as I am one of their registered installers. When I am not installing their kitchens I am installing other makes of kitchens for private customers.
I have been installing and manufacturing kitchens of one type or another since I was 21 (now 47). Before this I trained/worked as a reproduction and bespoke cabinet maker from the age of 16 to 21.
Once I had started installing kitchens and dealing with other trades ie plumbers and electricians, I quickly realised it would be more convenient and a lot less stress if I was able to deal with the plumbing and electrical work that is always involved with a new kitchen installation myself. I therefore decided to take night courses to gain the required qualifications and registrations in order to undertake this work.
I have one employee, we have worked together installing kitchens for the past 20 years.
I have a standard 2 million pound kitchen fitting liability insurance policy which covers both myself and employee for all aspects of the work we are involved in e.g. Carpentry, plumbing, gas plumbing and electrical work.
I believe in good communication with my customers as this helps me to complete the job to a high standard and to your satisfaction.
I take pride in paying attention to detail and gain personal satisfaction from a job well done.

Qualifications

Electrical qualification.
City & Guilds 2382-20 17th edition electrical regulations. Passed on 06/08/2008
Part P domestic electrical registration with ELECSA.
Registration number 61569.

Gas plumbing qualification.
ACS - Ccn1 Core domestic gas safety. Plus Cookers, Fires, Boilers, Pipework, Range cookers, Water heaters and Combi analysis. These are renewed every five years as per Gas safe regulations.
Gas Safe registration number 123289.
