I've been a bricklayer since I was 16.I was the Apprentice of the year in 2004,my apprenticeship was completed on a stone built housing site.I'm experienced in propping walls & most of my experience of that coming on English heritage sites .Ive worked abroad in Australia, Italy & Holland over the years. In 2021 we have grown as a team we now have Aaron, Shane, Jimmy and apprentice Sam on board. We are all competent in the laying of bricks, blocks and stonework. And all of the above James

    I have nothing but praise to say for the way James McDonagh handled this job. James attended when I first asked for a quote but it was his attitude and professionalism which convince me to ask him to do the job. However problems between myself and the neighbours caused excessive delays and eventually the job could not be completed. James kept in touch with me throughout the process of many, many months of delay and never gave up trying to assist me to get the job done. I would recommend James to anyone wanting building work done and I would certainly ask him in the future.

    James and his team were brilliant from start to finish. Reasonably priced and excellent workmanship.

    I had my garage conversion done and wanted to replicate the design of the existing property on this conversion and James delivered, the end result looks as if its been there since it was built.

    They started promptly at 8am and grafted until end of the day, 3 days later and job complete as planned. James even helped out on another small job as we had some leftover material for free.

    Highly recommended and all positive from me. Definitely will be using this company again.
