    I had never met Jason previously. Our first discussion on the telephone was very much like talking to an old friend. He was extremely helpful even offering suggestions I had personally not thought of.
    We arranged a time, which, he kindly fitted me in as I had stressed the urgency of getting the work completed.
    His quote was extremely good and I promptly accepted.
    I had to return to Southampton and Jason arranged to get the work done in my absence. On my return I was delighted with the completed job. He had taken all the rotten and broken stuff he had removed and cleaned up the area, something that appears to be rare in current times.

    Jason was thorough, his team likeable and had a great work ethic.
    Given they repointed a chimney, cleaned moss of the roof, cleared guttering, and removed crumbling mortar from one side of the house and renewed, they completed in a day. Tidied up after themselves.

    I had an extremely irritating drip onto my conservatory and was unsure of who would come to fix it. I had a very quick response from Jason who came within a couple of hours to look at it for me. We then arranged for him to come back the next morning to clean out the gutter etc. Whist he was here I asked if he would clean the soffits and eaves etc. and it was no trouble for him. Jason turns up when he says he will and is a nice guy. I would certainly use him again.

    They turned up on time and seemed to do a good job, they charged 50% more than the quote. The final bill was £3000 for 3 men for 6 hrs for cementing in 3 valleys and a few other jobs. Not sure if this was ok or not

    Yes this quote was correct for all three valleys was removed re-felted re-bedded on which you did have three large valleys
    Ridges was re-bedded back on tiles which was broken was replaced
    Shed was re-felted
    Eve protect the trays was installed
    New wooden fascia board was installed
    New lead flashing was installed
    And as the job was commencing there was before and after photos taken
    3 days work ?????

    Jason and the team completed a replacement of all guttering, Soffits and fascias on our property. The job was completed to a really high standard and we were really happy with the finished job. The team worked hard and nothing was too much bother. We asked for a slight change to one part of the job which was completed swiftly without any problems. After the job was completed the team took the time to tidy up and left the property in a tidy state.     Below par shoddy work, no attention to detail, luckily I caught the workman fixing soffits to existing ones at the front of the house when they should have been replacement soffits and he made some poor excuse, moaned and took what he'd done wrong down and did it properly, pays to keep an eye on them,.
    The front window popped out so they fitted soffits around it, when the window was popped back into place there was an 2 inch gap between soffit and window frame which they wanted to cover over with a plastic strip and when I said I wanted the soffit put in properly they cut into the new fascia board leaving that looking rubbish with a join in it now, when I wanted a replacement fascia he said he'd do the work for an extra £100 and I haven't heard from him since that was nearly 2 months ago now.
    We have poor/ non existant sealant work around rear soffits to the rear of the housr, it's like they got to the back of the house done the job as quickly as they could to get home early.
    I can provide photos of all the work then make up your own mind

    When we re-removed your facias and soffits the previous fitters that fitted the windows in they was not fixing properly which I showed you that was the problem with the windows which when you called the firm back When our job was completed the window went back in a few inches once we came back there we had to put it right which we did then you complained about the fascia board which I did explain to you what would happen but you didn’t really realise how it was going to look but many thanks for the feedback keep safe

  • Repair leak damage to roof

    I had to do a lot of chasing up. Once the quote had been made, there was no drive on his side to do the work. I had a leak in the roof, and a tenant in there, so it was rather urgent and I didn't appreciate that I had to constantly text and phone to try to get him to arrange a time with the tenant.
    In the end I went with another company because he pulled a ligament - not his fault, however I only found out about this because I was yet again chasing up.

    The days the tenant wasn’t working I had other jobs booked in so it was awkward to give you a starting date with this problem

    When hiring Jason for the facias and guttering I expected the quote was for the whole bungalow and not just the sides. The gable ends were untouched which was very disappointing.

    i chose Jason for the work after meeting him as i felt he seemed very confident and capable in the work i required and wasn't wrong!
    I had a full soffit/facia and gutter removal and replacement front and back on a victorian terrace bay window and door areas re cladded.
    Also a leak assessed and remedied out the back!
    Jason and 2 others did all this for me and i can say it was carried out to a very high standard and we are very happy with the work.
    A big worry to me was the leak out the back which jason assured me he would sort before the work started.
    On investigation he quickly assessed it and sent across pictures of his findings and fixed it on the same day! I thought this was excellent.
    Not easy conditions aswell being the hottest day of the year so far.
    So all in all highly recommended!

    The response was very quick and initial inspection of the barge-board after the repair was completed looked fine.
    However as I started to prepare the new wood insert for painting, I became aware that the under tile cement board was broken and not repairable and that the mortar infill at the edge of the lowest tile was broken and loose.
    I have endeavoured to patch up the situation and hope it will be weatherproof.
    I am sorry to say the repair was no way up to the standard I expected.

    John Birch from J.B.Home Care put a new gutter on the back of my house on 23 rd October and I am very pleased with the work he did, He also cleaned my solar panels.
    He did not take very long to do the job and while he was up there did some extra work that he said needed doing. I have no complaints with the work and will ask him to do the front of the house when i needs to be replaced.
