More on the trades and introduction:
My main trade is Painting and Decorating, I started out around 7 years ago painting and gardening. I was fortunate enough to get my CSCS card and work on various building sites and learn from higher qualified decorators. I began to work for agencies providing work on residential homes, pharmacies and large scale jobs, I also worked for Optima with a team of the best decorators I have worked with, which allowed me to gain more knowledge of the products used and many methods to achieve a professional finish.
I started self employed 3 years ago working for painters and smaller businesses to gain more in depth experience, take on more challenges as a decorator and job responsibilities. I have learnt from some very good painters and I will continue to learn and become more efficient with every job.
The majority of my work I take on now is as a solo contractor with other trades/ labourers.
This gives me the opportunity to work with people direct while I am completing the job. Where I can work on my own I usually chose to as it works better for both of us on pricing.
There are a variety of different jobs I can complete and trades I work with. I would only share interest in a job I am 100% capable of completing solo or by sub contracting another tradesmen to work with. I provide specialist services like sash windows restoration (using putty and wood filler to rebuild the form of the wooden sash before repaint) Conservatory spray wash cleaning (using high powered petrol jet wash + decking, fences and sheds) bannisters and panelling painted in oil or water based, (change the base of woodwork using an undercoat allowing oil to water based and vice versa). Amongst all the more basic painting and decorating jobs which I will have the same approach to completing. All of which can be arranged through shortlist.
Finally I would like to say I price fair, I enjoy my work which makes the time I spend at your home important, I use the correct tools necessary for the job and have a small van for tools and materials collection. I am happy to decorate with paint provided however I would always like to give you a guide of my estimate needed to cover based on the circumstances.

Day rates can be provided on smaller jobs, jobs over a period of time and require more trades will be quoted on price.

    Jacob called me almost immediately and we discussed the job I needed to be completed. He said that would be no problem and gave me a price which I agreed with.
    He actually offered to do the job the same day but because I wasn’t ready we decided on a date for the next week.
    From start to finish I found Jacob very polite and helpful.
    His colleague came to complete the job on the day we agreed on and he was also very polite and got straight on with the job in hand and in no time he had finished. He dismantled my massive wardrobes, King size bed and dressing table brought everything downstairs and out into his van. I was very impressed with the time he took to complete the job.
    I will definitely be using this company again in the future. I also highly recommend them.

    We had the exterior of our house painted by Jacob and Joss and we are very pleased with the high standard of work delivered. The paint job was very thorough and tidy and has really transformed the outside of our house. Very competitive quote offered with excellent communication throughout.
