Since completion of the job we have had a flood in the bedroom as we discovered that a floorboard had been screwed to a central heating pipe. This resulted in an emergency plumber being called in the early hours of the morning (now resulting in an insurance claim). We also still have the rubbish from the job still here as the carpenter has failed to collect these despite promising to do so. We managed to make contact using a different phone- therefore number not recognised- and were reassured that he would call the next day to remove the rubbish (again failed to call back).We have left numerous phone messages regarding both issues- none of which have been replied. Very concerned that he has had 2 messages about the flood damage and hasn't called to see how we are (knowing that we have a 4 month old baby in the house). We are now looking to employ a professional to repair the damage, however will not be using an internet trader again due to this bad experience.
