Ian's Property Maintenance Services

I've recently gone into semi retirement and I'm looking to see if I can create a business helping people to look after and maintain their homes. A care taking service but with the ability to also undertake small scale improvement works. I've always had a huge passion for making and repairing things around the home and garden and believe that I can provide a high quality, reliable and keenly priced service to residents and private landlords. I look forward to the opportunity to help.

About Ian's Property Maintenance Services

Having worked in Social Housing as a Housing Officer for 30 years I was presented with the opportunity to take my pension early and go into semi retirement which I have chosen to do.

Tired of the rat race of full time work I have considered following in my brothers footsteps by setting up a property maintenance business, from where I can draw on his experience and knowledge. As students we earned extra cash doing work for people and had a strong reputation for high quality work which was borne out of the background of a father and grandparents who excelled in practical skills. From an early age I learned to garden, repair and build things.

I am often called upon by family and friends to carry out work for them and love to see things well cared for and jobs done properly. My aim is to provide a reliable, keenly priced service tailored to individual needs and requirements.

The type of work that I can undertake includes gardening, painting and decorating, wallpapering, small plumbing and joinery jobs, fencing repairs, tiling and general cleaning and tidying up but I will consider doing anything apart from new electrical installations and gas work as I do not hold the required qualifications to legally do so.
