    Didn't keep scheduled appointment. I had carved out a block of time in advance and it was to suit him (the original appointment time was at his request, and had also been changed once by him and I accommodated both times). If he needed to change the time again that would have been fine but he didnt re-schedule by calling me in advance, instead he turned up 1.5 hours earlier and when I said I'm not available now he said "we'll have to re-schedule then". I said "then we will have to cancel completely" and went back to work. It suited him to do the work earlier and he tried to strongarm me with the threat of not carrying out the work today. He then sent an aggressive text message calling me rude when I had just responded factually. We are all working - his job was to provide a service which I would pay for. He didn't do that and he expected me to lose my job to suit him. There are lots of other plumbers who treat customers with respect, I dont see any need to use this person

To complicate matters, the service valve was found to be broken and what was thought to be the main stop-cock was traced to another service! So, no way of shutting off the supply in order to effect the repair! Advised to contact Water Co to get stop-cock located so we could turn the water off, as we were constantly leaking water. 2 days on, having still been unable to locate it, the Water Co are going to insert a new one. On Monday, Harry came on time (with an assistant plumber), prepared a piece of pipe and fittings, turned on all available taps (to relieve the flow), skillfully cut through the feed pipe and quickly fitted his prepared new pipework, which contained a new Service Valve. They removed the old toilet, measured up and then fitted the new, which require the addition of a 90-degree bend.
    Sealed joints, cleaned up, removed all debris and left job clean and tidy.
    Face masks were worn and and the whole job carried out politely and efficiently. Definitely recommended.

    The job was left of a good quality and a professional standard, it was mr cartlidge that posted the job. However when the job was finished we was told to deal with his wife. As we did not receive payment within the invoice conditions, we then contacted and spoke to Mrs cartlidge were by we got lots of abuse over the phone and demands that were not in the job description. We then advised the customer that we would not be carrying out any more work, now months later we get a phone call to ask if we would fit 2 sets of taps, so if our work was that bad why would she come back to us. We again said we are not going to any more work for you, and that’s when we was threatened with bad feed back. As we will not be held to ransom and black mailed. And sticking to our decision we will no longer be carrying out any more work for this customer.

    I used these to replace a pop-up waste on my bath. The plumber replaced the pop-up waste with a new unit but failed to seal the new unit in, so when the bath was used, it leaked. I actually said to the plumber, when he wa on the job, that I had hired somebody as was worried about replacing units that fit into waste pipes correctly, as wanted the job done properly! Contacted them to arrange for them to come out and rectify and the same plumber was booked to come back to rectify the next day. They then cancelled on me the next day. After much complaining from my end a plumber was sent round to rectify the following day and to be fair to them, they didn't charge me for the job in the end. A bit of saga for what seemed like a relatively straightforward job.

    H.M plumbing and heating services fixed the bath, insomuch that it stopped wobbling, so we're very grateful for this.  A few days later we noticed that the drain-pipe was leaking, however, they popped over and fixed (charged for part, but not time) - so pretty much fab.  In terms of the job commissioned, they did great, however.... whilst visiting we asked them whether a guttering issue was something they could address. Following a quick quote which we were happy with, they did the job.  Sadly the work wasn't all that great, as following the first bout of rain (more than a week later) it leaked.  Sent a number of messages on MyBuilder and SMS messages to no avail!  No answer, no acknowledgement.  Waited a good while before posting this message in case they were in isolation etc.Sadly, nothing, so I'm left with a bit of a bodge job that I'll need to pay somebody else to repair.  Ultimately, that just leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.  They only needed to reply and I think I'd have been 100% positive behind their work.

    Ultimately, not sure I'd use these guys again, which is a shame, as I like to support local traders and they appeared like decent guys.
