Hello, my name is Hamish and I am a stonemason, stone sculptor and general builder with over 16 years experience working in the industry. I have worked as part of a team on historic buildings and period homes as well as on many private works including sculpture commissions. All aspects of stonework and building undertaken.

I am a competent self-employed stonemason, stone sculptor and builder with extensive experience with all types of stonework, lime pointing, restoration and conservation of historic buildings and period homes.
I have worked for clients on many large estates including Canonteign house, Yarner house, Buckland court, Dartington Hall, as well as commercial and private properties around the Southwest.     Hamish and his team did an excellent job on rebuilding our 200 year old gate entrance pillar which had been badly damaged when a lorry reversed into it .
    When he had finished the pointing it looked better than before the accident
    We intend having him again for building and repairing some old stone walls at our property.
