About GP Joinery & Building Contractors

I started my apprenticeship with Timberwise where I learnt many aspects of building preservation. I was always interested in old properties and admired the architecture and the amount of skill in which they were built. Not only was I taught modern day joinery, but also traditional joinery, which unfortunately you don't get to see much of these days. I live close to Chester and was lucky enough to work on the building where Next Clothing Company is situated. Being a Tudor building we had to replace the whole of the front. I still look at the building today and feel very proud in helping preserve the history of the building.

I've worked for small builders to Nationwide House Builders (some where NHBC pride in the job was awarded). I have undertaken many jobs from hanging a single door to Project Managing million pound builds. I work on the restaurant chain Hickory's Smokehouse. I feel very proud when I return to there restaurants and admire what we achieve, their eye for detail is truly outstanding.
