About Gilberts Landscaping

I have a background in art and illustration so my creative and design skills are very strong. When I changed career I started out managing fence to fence vegetation on the railway infrastructure. I then moved in to property developing. This then led me to what I believe is my true vocation and I decided to specialise in landscaping.

Qualifications

Whatever job I undertake I always learn something new because no two jobs are the same, so my skill base is always being improved
We can offer complete garden makeovers, including patios, walls, steps, driveways, fencing, turfing and planting. Other services we offer are all types of garden maintenance, including regular and one off grass cutting, hedge cutting, tree work, clearances and tidy ups.
We can also provide a full design service with scale plans and colour visuals; enabling customers to see the full potential of our ideas.

    When we first chose Chris to landscape our jaded 5 level garden all we wanted was to have it made safe and user friendly as the wall and slabs were breaking up and the levels were a trip hazard. As a bonus we asked if he could incorporate some curves in the very angular overall shape and he drew up a plan that would give all of that and more!
    We couldn’t at first see how it would work with the multiple levels and high borders but with all his hard work often in bad weather and even catching up over bank holiday weekend he achieved all we asked and more!
    He could see the potential that we never even hoped for and the result is amazing! We would unreservedly recommend Chris, he is a very hard worker, totally trustworthy and does a wonderful job. Thanks Chris.
