    John was superb. I spoke to him (I am a tradesman myself) at 9pm and he was on site at 7.45am the following morning. What impressed me was it was a tiny job and certainly couldn't have been worth his while going financially but he did so anyway. He only charged me petrol money really and kept my customer extremely happy in the process. Will definitely use again and highly recommend as theres not many trades I know that are not greedy these days. Thanks John. Great job and very friendly guy.

  • House rewire

    Regrettably can’t give John a full positive review for the following reasons:

    1) He was extremely keen to get the job, and even told me my job was a priority. Once we gave him the job he started making excuses as to delay the start by 3 days. When I insisted he start on time he then took Tuesday off and on average worked from around 10 to 4. He also took another day off in the second week after telling me he was ahead and was due to finish in the 10 days he guaranteed the jobs would take. He ‘finished’ on day 10 after working a couple of late evenings. However after checking the quote a number of sockets and other items were not fitted as quoted. It took him about 4 days to get most of it done. As he was taking so long I asked for a refund on and in fairness he did refund for the work he was unable to carry out.

    2) He was not the cheapest and we only chose him as he promised to deliver in 10 days. We wanted additional work done such as have 2 cctv cameras fitted he quoted £250. Given it was a job we later did as a DIY job in 1 hour. I felt his pricing were too high and unfair given our loyalty.

    Whilst he is a nice guy and did the job the time it took and the fact he was £600 more than lower quote. I wish I had hired the cheapest one as we had to wait around 3 weeks in the end anyway.

    Great communication, very punctual and did the job at short notice. Did a great job and cleaned up afterwards, all for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended - I will be contacting John in the future for any further jobs!

    Honest bloke and good enough job but I think he took on too much work at once, what was meant to take 1 week took 3, but he did inform us when he wouldn't be attending and did make the alterations we requested. Haven't received a certificate yet though and there is a live wire exposed under the sink which has obviously not been completed. Also the hallway light was put at the wrong end but we will leave it as it is. Nice guy but in future I'd only go with someone who can work full time on our property and can dedicate the concentration and time on it.

    John called promptly after I had posted the job. He was polite and friendly and sorted out a faulty light fitting very well. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again.

    John was very quick to respond to my call for cooker and washing machine to be disconnected prior to moving, and did it the same day. I was pleased he could do it at such short notice. I would thoroughly recommend him.

    Honestly, it is hard to find responsible, honest people like him, PLEASE give this guy a call and save yourself a headache.

    John responded quickly with his quote and it was very reasonable, he is polite, approachable and flexible as during a full rewire I changed my mind on a couple of things and he was happy to oblige. He was up to date with current regulations and offered advice on socket/light positions. Will use again if required and happy to recommend to friends and colleagues.

    John was slightly delayed arriving but sent a text message informing me of the delay. He arrived 20 minutes after the text. John explained to me what he was going to do and showed me the equipment he was going to fit. During the job, he kept me informed about what was going on. After the consumer unit was fitted, he showed me how it worked and what circuit breaker controlled what.

    He cleaned up and vacuumed prior to leaving, washed up his mug (he didn't make any demands for tea etc but the tea was forced on him) and there wasn't any pressure to pay at any point.

    I hope to offer John work in the future and will recommend him to my friends and family. Thanks John.

    John was very professional, arrived for his appointment on time and provided us with a quote within the timescale provided. We did not use John on this occasion but we would not hesitate to contact John in the future should we require any electrical work to be carried out.

    John fitted a new fuse box for us. It was important that this work was done prior to our hallway being redecorated so we had to ask John to do this at short notice. The work was done to a very high standard and within the short time frame we gave John. He provided us a competitive quote for the work and left the area he was working on very clean and tidy. John is quick to respond to requests for quotes and works to a very high standard while offering very competitive rates. We would be happy to use John again and would recommend him without reservation
