Mr Royal and his team are exactly what you look for in a contractor-up front, clear, helpful with advice and once having assessed the job, they get on with it without fuss. In our case Eric had to spend the first day correcting faults made by the joiners. Would recommend him as a very competent tradesman.

Wonderful service! Eric first came out and did a patch job, then told us the state of our roof and booked us in to have the whole roof done. This included removal of tiles, fixing timbers, felting and putting tiles back on including replacing any broken ones. His prices are very reasonable considering the workmanship we've had. He even offered to take the cost of the patch job off the total cost of the roof, which was very kind of him. Understandably, the weather this time of year meant it took a while to get the job done but Eric and his team worked quickly, were very considerate and polite while they were here. Eric is a hard-working, quality tradesman with a wonderful attitude to boot. The work on our roof has been fantastic, we are over the moon! I would have no problem recommending him to others and calling him for jobs in years to come.

I can't recommend Eric highly enough! We contracted him to do a retiling job on the main roof, boarding out the loft and replacing the glass extension roof with a tiled roof, and installing Velux windows. He has done an amazing job on all items and we are very pleased with the result.

Right from the beginning he was very helpful and gave advice on the job and tile types even before he was hired, which set him apart from some of the other builders we called to quote for the job. He was friendly and communicative throughout the job and was open about issues that cropped up.

He organised all the dependencies such as labour, materials, and scaffolding, and made sure that he and all the labourers cleaned up after themselves every day ensuring that we could still make use of the areas of the house that had construction work ongoing.

Eric is a hard worker and will endeavour to get the project finished to the client's satisfaction. We would definitely consider contracting him again for the next job we do on the house.

Eric provided a great service throughout, at very short notice. I would not hesitate to recommend Eric, as he was professional and helpful, on what was an unorthodox site!

Eric was the best builder I've ever hired. He was always on time, he swiftly completed the job and there were absolutely no complications. I would definitely recommend Eric to others since he's been so reliable.

Eric responded quickly to my advert. He was very polite and thorough with paperwork which gave us extra confidence to choose him for the job. He completely replaced an extension roof and put in a sky light as well as blocking up a door and window and fitting a new french door. All work was completed to a high standard and he was happy to take on extra work that the build required once work had begun (we needed an rsj fitting which hadn’t been done properly before). He even very kindly had a look at a leak on our main roof and fixed with no extra charge. I would recommend and use him again in the future.

Mr Royal answered my request very quickly and was able to come and fix my roof windows by re- sealing the flashings. A charming man . I was very pleased with his cost for the job. I would certainly recommend him.

Eric and Chris put some supporting timbers in my loft which the mortgage survey had highlighted.

Eric had taken the time to study the plans I had before he came to look at the job and knew exactly what needed doing. Job was completed to a high standard on time and at the agreed price.

Eric was brilliant! So very clear and explained thoroughly what he would need to do and even if I didn't hire him what I should make sure other tradesmen did to make my roof secure and safe.

He advised me on other parts of my main roof but did not assume at any point he would get the job. He gave me a timely and really reasonable quote and was super professional. He also turned up on time (sometimes early) and did exactly what he said he would.
