About us

20+ year of experience in the construction industry.We are NVQ qualified bricklayers with access to(if required,I will always be on site) other NVQ qualified,experienced bricklayers.

About me

I have been self-employed for most of my career.Being self employed has allowed me to gain experience ,and a real working knowledge of all the different methods of building,from timber frame with facing brick/block, shuttering with facing brick/block, cavity work with insulation,garden walls,foundations,extensions,conservatories,renovations,structural repairs,re pointing,groundwork(man holes and footings etc...),stone work,brick chimneys,lead flashing's,specialty capping(precast or decorative brickwork) .I have lots of experience in all the above,but also in organizing materials and safe working conditions,resulting in the highest standards,in all the formats of bricklaying/building.

  • Complete extension

    What can I say about Sean! He is the perfect bricklayer (he should be classed as builder become there's nothing he can't do!) ; he had to get over some horrid bits of previous work by other builders, worked in tight space (15 inch wide gap). The dogs love their custom made dog flap.
    I wish I had found him when I had my garage done, it would have been a far better job.
    He is honest and trust worthy. Turned up and worked, he even refused cuppa breaks unless forced.
    His work at my house can be viewed if people want to see what he can do. Already booking him for -
    Brick BBQ
    Porch
    And if my parents have the garage converted he will have that as well.
    As I have said I wish I had found him years ago.

  • Chimney Stack Removal.

    Sean was a joy to work with. He contacted me within 24 hours of me posting a job, within the next 24 hours he was down to check it out. He had no problems working with a very difficult structural engineer and always stayed professional. He made sure to always keep me informed about a very single detail even though this was never required of him and kept me updated and always advised on the best possible options whenever we uncovered a surprise (i.e. Hidden gas pipes, missing joists, rotten joists, thin external walls) during the removal of both chimneys in my house. I'd definitely hire Sean again in the future for any brick related work.

  • Removal of chimney breast in living room

    Sean was absolutely brilliant before, during and after the work. He turned up when he said he would, his work was exceptional ! He even telephoned us a week after to check that all was well. I would definitely use him again, and would certainly recommend him for any building works large or small!
