About Restitute Property Services
My trade is plastering although to be chosen onto the plastering NVQ 2 I had to enroll in a full year of multiple trades covering plumbing, electrics, painting and decorating & brick laying. Once qualified through Collage i first worked on large building sites. Not gaining much variety i left and joined an all round building company (E&H Griffith Building LTD). Works I have been part of include, a full Renovation of a listed building, Building of a full new build, upgrades to the Imperial Hotel from a 3* to 4*. Sadly the company went into liquidation and i was forced to move on.
I built up a reputation and started to work for myself. I was acting as a sub contractor for Anthony Leaman. Before starting out on my own.
Over the years I have Re-skimmed copious amount of artex ceilings. I boast my own technique as I use a 3 coat skim which completely covers the old artex which once painted you do not see the old artex.
Some recent jobs I completed was a large double shop salon refurbishment. I had to rip out all old fixtures and fittings. Plasterboard, skim & paint, re route some pipe work and fit small kitchen. This job was weekend/ night work which required to be completed within 55 hours. The biggest project that I have managed was a full house refurbishment stripping the whole house back to brick renewing boiler, electrics, fitting of a new bathroom and kitchen thus creating an open modern home complying to all building regulations.
Over the years I have learned that no job is the same so I miticulasly project manage thinking of every step.
When there are small out of trade jobs required I complete them in order not to pull in any further trades this saves on time and I know exactly how the job is progressing, However on larger projects I pull in various trades that I have vetted and worked with to maintain the integrity of the project.
The first 2 paragraphs was a description of my first 6 years plastering career, the following 3 paragraphs are recent jobs/projects i have been completing during my time in the RAF. I did take a career change and join the RAF this was to focus mainly on pension prospects but sadly due to the RAF changing there employment model, pensions have been re designed and tours have become longer due to family reasons I have decided to leave and re-establish my previous career. From my previous plastering skills and my military career I have gained extra valuable skills that I didn't have previously this just adds to the superior work I can create, the excellent workmanship and planning I put into every job.
