We are a family run Heating, Gas and Plumbing company with more than 30 years experience. We carry out all aspects of installation, breakdown and servicing. Our friendly engineers are reliable, punctual and professional. All our work is fully insured and guaranteed.
- Central Heating
We specialise in boiler service and breakdown work, including system electrics, on all makes of boiler, including back boilers. We also carry out work on a contract basis for British Gas.
We are part L accredited for energy conservation and can recommend a number of ways to improve the efficiency of your system, from fitting a simple room thermostat to an entire system update including weather compensation systems.
We realise it is not always possible to be at home during the day due to work or family commitments, which often means paying higher rates for engineer visits during the evening and at weekends. To help reduce the financial burden on our customers, we have introduced new charging hours. Our normal daytime rate is now applicable from 7.30am to 7.00pm Monday to Friday, and 9.00am to 5.00pm on Saturdays. So far, this change has been very popular with our current customers, and we beleive it has won us some new ones, which is great!
Programs like Rogue Traders and Cowboy builders have highlighted some unscrupulous companies and individuals in our industry.
Because of this DIAMOND have introduced a second opinion service called "Peace of Mind". If you have had a diagnosis from another company/individual and you are not entirely happy that it is correct, or the price seems on the high side, we will send one of our qualified engineers to assess the work and give you a FREE second opinion. All we ask is you provide us with a written diagnosis or estimate from the other engineer outlining the work required.
It is early days for the service but we are finding that on average 3 out of 10 of the initial diagnosis were incorrect, and with minor repairs, many systems or appliances went on to work normally.
