Dan Evans Building Services

I have been self employed for the past 9 years with a constant flow of business, after learning my trade through a well know and respected local builder. Quality workmanship is hard to find. We will not be beaten for quality and won't leave the job unless the customer is 100% satisfied. I specialise in stone work and renovations/conversions and all wet mix trades. I have a team of highly mixed skilled tradesmen to be able to undertake and complete any job to the highest standard available.

  • Small Kitchen to be Tiled

Extremely pleased with the work that Dan did for us. He is very reliable and friendly and the work was finished to a very high standard.
We had gone for tiles that resembled real brickwork so he said he would cut them to an angle on the corners of the window to make them look even more like genuine brickwork. It was such an unexpected and clever suggestion and really shows how he goes the extra mile for his customers.
We will be using Dan again to tile our bathroom. Definitely recommend 👍🏻

  • Converting shop into flats

Dan and his team have been working on a project for me converting a commercial building into residential flats. Dan has project managed the job as well as been the main builder on site. His work is spot on very professionally done. Site is always clean and tidy and all work is of a very high standard.
He has good contacts for all the trades you need. I will be using him on future projects.

  • Basement restoration

Hired for a basement renovation, which is unfinished and not structurally sound. Haven't heard/seen this tradesperson in over 2 months and currently looking for other builders to fix his shoddy work and make the basement structurally safe again. This builders work and workmanship is far from a good standard. Avoid at all costs!

    Dan Evans Building Services's reply:

The job is unfinished due to the fact the customer put a stop to work because of money issues. The customer then decided to carry on with work themselves. We had excavated part of a basement and installed temporary support in the view that work would carry on imminently,Unfortunately this wasn't the case.
I have been back to the job since to check if everything was OK and the customer asked if we could go back to finish off the work...which I replied as soon as I can" I dont understand how digging a hole can be "shoddy work". We were working a a day rate basis and proceeding with work stage by stage.....but due to their finances we have not been able to complete.
