About Craig Shaw Carpentry

I have been doing all aspects of carpentry since 1997. I started out in South Africa working for a company that designed and built a lodge in Kruger park area of South Africa. I then worked with an interior designer who was responsible for the design of many of the top lodges in the Sabi Sand game reserve. After arriving in the UK in 1999, I worked in London for various companies doing mainly commercial carpentry work such as shopfitting. Then in 2004, I started working for myself, doing all residential carpentry including:
Wardrobes, fitted kitchens, timber framing, staircases, internal stud walling, fencing, decking, flooring, doors, skirting and architrave, amongst others.
I am happy to project manage larger jobs, co-ordinating other trades, while doing the carpentry side myself. I have done a number of large jobs where this has been the case.
