About Handy DIY Help

Previously I worked as a heating, ventilation and refrigeration engineer for supermarkets. I became a qualified electrician in 2014 while working in the industry and learning the trade.

With a growing family of three kids, two dogs and a cat I relocated further north to be closer to my roots of Sunderland and my family here in Darlington.

Elderly people can often find themselves at a loss when it comes to simple tasks like changing a light bulb. I noticed this with my parents and decided to start up Handy DIY Help to meet this need with other residents of Darlington and the north.
