After two delays to the job caused by waiting for the slabs to be delivered by the supplier. I agreed with Charley, at his suggestion, that he would begging the work at the end of July/beginning of August. I contacted him on the 28th July showing pictures of the delivered materials confirming that all materials had been delivered and that he was good to go as per his suggested timeframe. Charlie didn’t reply until 31 July when he informed me that he had booked other jobs and couldn’t lay my patio until mid-October. I expressed my concern to Charley about this and in the end decided to approach another landscaper on my build who has agreed to carry out the work from 19th August onwards. I am very dissatisfied with Charlie who despite suggesting to do the work end of July/beginning of August double booked and has left me high and debt Please be wary of this contractor’s promises.
