    Charles took a long time to fit this small job into his calendar and once he did he also changed the date at very late notice.
    The job was to take down the old door, cut 20mm off the bottom of the new one and then hang the new door. After taking down the old door and cutting 20mm off the bottom of the new door Charles said new hinges were required and said he would come back.
    He demanded majority pay for work already done and then left and never returned or answered phone calls or messages. Due to the extra work we did offer to pay him more.
    The door was also a bathroom door which was left door-less until we paid for someone else to fix it. With the amount of great carpenters and handymen on this, I would highly suggest looking to one of them for your jobs.

    the night before the job I messaged and called multiple times for the address,to which I got no reply. I asked if there was parking restrictions to which I was told noBut there was all local parking required permit.I also informed John his door was trimable only up to 10-12mm.He assured me it was only a few mm,but it was Infact over the maximum trimable amount.I was told new ironmongrey would be provided and it wasn't.I didn't even receive half the amount I charged as I had to cover my parking,and surely couldn't be expected to waste half a day of my time for nothing when the issues were not my fault and I had clearly explained them before.At first I had positive feedback from John so ultimately his latest feedback looks very hypercritical
