About Calum McKimmon Stonemasonry
Upon completion of my 4 year Stonemasonry apprenticeship at Glasgow Cathedral, I ventured south to Lincoln Cathedral where i spent time working on the Cathedral and surrounding properties.
I have worked with both sandstone and limestone and have sound knowledge of lime works and the advantages and disadvantages in its various applications.
I approach all my work with a methodical approach and to carry out the best 'repair' or advise my clients of new masonry where it is a MUST.
Although a number of years have been spent in conservation heritage work, I have also carried out a number of extensions, and worked on several newbuilds, both inner city and in the countryside.
I'm always free to discuss any queries before visiting to price up a quote.
