David Reid Bespoke construction

It's the old catch 22 with this site as I am new here and obviously therefor have no feed back yet, however, I give my good word that I pride myself on a quality job. I believe if you pay monkey money you'll get monkey work! I've worked within a massive circle of trades and tradesmen, or, sometimes so called tradesmen! I learned a trade the old fashioned way - a four year apprenticeship - and I have a good eye for things which goes a long, long way. As does a fair bit of good common sense and hindsight, which comes with 20 years of experience. As I said before, I will not take on any work that I am not 100% confident that I can finish to a high professional standard. Please contact me if you require references or need to view previous work carried out by myself.

About David Reid Bespoke construction

I served my apprenticeship with my father who ran his own company, running affairs myself ensued after six years in the company. I learned the ropes but then I decided on a career change and enrolled at university. During study I continued with part time construction work and in the process renovated, entirely, my own property which I still own and let out. After finishing my studies I continued to do a mix of construction work, full house and flat renovations, as well as making my own acoustic guitars. I now run both companies and balance the two quite well. although construction sometime takes the lead when demands are high!

Qualifications

Apprenticeship in Plastering, Roofing, and Ceramic tiling. NC Mechatronical Engineering, HNC Musical Instrument Technology, HND Musical instrument Technology. I have now been in the construction industry for 20 years. I've worked through a very broad range of trades but I specialise in Plastering, carpentry and tiling. I actually make acoustic guitars as well but sadly there is more money to be made in construction! I will not take on any projects that I am not 100% happy that I can finish to a very high professional standard. I have dozens of photos that I could put on here but unfortunately 5 is the maximum allowed, so if you'd like to see some more, or speak to some of my clients, then please ask away and I'd be happy to arrange anything.
