  • Oak worktop installation in 4x2m kitchen

    Great communication and quotation process. Job done to good standards including additional jobs on the day, happy with the oak worktop installation with undersink cut out and sink installation.

    Only neutral feedback would be to still use toggle bolts for clamping worktop joints as one of the joints is a bit loose (<1mm gap) and Osmo oil MUST be used, alternative offered was simply not waterproof (water does not bead after 3 coats), we had to buy Osmo and refinish the worktop. These are all communicated to me prior to installation as changes proposed by Aran and I agreed but in hindsight, we should have stuck to original proposal of toggle bolts and Osmo.

    Absolutely delighted with the work Aran has done for me. He is a hard worker who gave a fair quote, turned up on time, and was very polite and professional. Aran clearly takes great pride in his work and this was evident in the quality of his work. And he left the place spotless! Can't praise him enough and I would certainly recommend to others.

    Aran responded very quickly to my request on MyBuilder for someone to replace the kitchen worktop with a wooden worktop. He was polite, helpful and informative on choosing the right worktop and throughout our dealings with him.
    The quality of work was excellent. He managed all aspects – organising a gas fitter to disconnect the hob and plumbers to remove and replace the kitchen sink and taps.
    He gave us a start date and arrived promptly and completed the work very neatly and smoothly within the timelines that he had suggested.
    We are very happy with the whole process and would highly recommend Aran and will definitely employ him for future work.
