Couldn't speak highly enough of Eric's organising of work and ensuring that quality of painting was done to the highest standard. Very pleased to have found his company and would definitely use again for any decorating work we might have in future. Happy to recommend to anyone.

Eryk and his team just completed a total refurbish of my two bedrooms to include: replacing roof, coving, plaster, wiring, floating wooded floors, and moving radiators. In addition he fitted two new replica Victorian fireplaces (one gas) and two custom made wardrobes... I'm sure there is more but I forget :) In terms of trades his team covered all: carpentry, plumbing, gas, and electrical. His team was always on time and open to discussion any direction change I had mid job, there was the usual grumbling you would expect but they did everything I asked for. If I spotted something I wasn't happy with (and I'm picky) they corrected it to the point that I had them lifting the wooded floor up a couple of times. The did it (sorry Eryk) until I was happy. From the experience I had he was reliable, honest, approachable, and really friendly. I'd hire him again if anything else comes up around my home.

Eyrck and his team came to our house and looked at the work that we wanted doing. He then talked us through the process and helped where we needed help. On time and on budget we now have a fantastic bathroom that looks and works perfectly. His team were all polite and tidy workers who enabled us to have the work done whilst our toddler did her best to cause chaos. It can be a concern, inviting people in to do work in your home but Eyrck and his team came in, did all that was asked with professionalism and good humour and I can strongly recommend them.

I hired Eryk for the job of doing major renovations on my 2 bdrm 1930s flat (i.e. electrics, plumbing, new boiler, re-plastering, painting, decorating, etc.). It was old and tired and needed a lot of work. When Eryk and the team started to get into it, we found out that it needed much more work than originally anticipated. I appreciate that Eryk was true to his original quote and just got on with the job. I'm very happy with the way the flat has turned out.

We had an a lot of response on MyBuildr. Eric's was 1 of the 7 quotes we got. His quote was not the cheapest, but he made us feel comfortable frm his very first visit. He comes up with loads of good ideas. We had structural work involving putting beams, fitting new kitchen, new bathroom, new flooring and decorating the full house. Structural work was excellent and Eric ensured that it was done according to the structural drawings and the building regulations inspection was handled well. Eric has a very good bathroom supplier in Luton. Awesome bathroom fitting. During the work it was discovered that the electrics of the house were not according to UK standards. Eric highlighted this problem well in time and re-wired the house afresh. We now have fully certified electrics. The plumbing was also done afresh and certified. A new combi boiler system was fit. Communicating with his workmen in English was sometimes painstaking, but just about manageable. A lot little things do get lost in translation as you end up describing your ideas to Eric who then tells his workmen to implement it - which happens mainly on the mobile phone calls between Eric and his workmen. A lot of chasing-up is needed for ensuring the work is on-track. Overall, We did go extensively over our budget for various reasons (not the builders fault). Five weeks of work got extended by two weeks due to extra issues being uncovered. All said, we are satisfied with Eric's work.

I had 5 quotes from My Builder Eric was not the cheapest but from the 1st visit to see the work seemed the most knowledgeable and had the best ideas for materials to go along with the work also his quote was very detailed and showed he knew what he was doing, this along with visiting work he was currently doing on other properties and photos I chose Eric and his team of builders to undertake my full house renovation. (New Kitchen & Bathroom, new flooring, new ceilings, spotlights across ground floor, plastering, Painting all rooms, outside of house building new front wall and gate also fixing guttering and roof leaks and painting all external walls). Anthony was assigned to the job as the main builder by Eric and is an EXCELLENT worker he was open to changes, very considerate and never moaned if I suddenly changed my mind about a part of the job, he also had very good ideas which turned out well. The house was Clean ready to move in afterwards. I recommend Anthony highly!! Eric has trade accounts and discounts in all the major building retailers and I used those to buy all the materials for the job. Receipts for materials that Anthony bought was given to me on a daily basis which I then reimbursed. Eric and his team did a fantastic job on my house which was a complete mess from old council tenants and is now a posh modern house. Thankyou Eric ...

We are really happy with the way the project went, this was our first refurbishment experience in London and we were really lucky to have Eryk and his team to guide us with sourcing materials and advice. We were so pleased with the bathroom that we got Eryk and his team to carry out further jobs on our apartment, fit new kitchen, lay tiles in the hallway and kitchen, paint whole flat, build a storage window seat, new custom book shelf, build new cupboard doors and lay floating floorboards. Eryk was so accommodating to any request, the finished product looks great, the jobs were completed very efficiently. Eryk and the team were really hard workers. Eryk and the team completed completed extra bits that we failed to identify when instructing the works that if not done would have looked ridiculous, without increasing the pre-agreed labour cost. We would definitely use Eryk again

I’m shocked by the previous review on work done 3 years ago. Our experience was excellent & the work carried out by Eryck & team was excellent & well executed. We had a tiny bathroom re-fitted in Feb, a difficult job due to cramped working space. Eryck's quote was very reasonable, detailed each material & labour costs. We bought our suite & tiles at a large discount due to Eryck's contacts. My husband went with Eryck to buy all materials. Eryck's staff, though not English speakers were charming, efficient & punctual & left the place tidy every day. They worked late & at the weekend to finish the work in 9 days. Great flexibility! Eryck attended site every am & pm to explain the rota & inspect the work. The bathroom was fitted expertly; incl mosaic tiles, underfloor heating, re-siting the lightswitch & moving the toilet back (no extra charge). Eryck's team replaced floorboards & put in a new vent for free. One negative: We had to redecorate the hall and touch up the bathroom walls. In hindsight, we should have asked him to do this & paid extra; we didn't specify this work in the original request. I highly recommend Eryck. We’ve had bad experiences in the past with other builders but I would not hesitate to use Eryck & his team for further work required in my house or garden. I’d be happy to speak to anyone wishing to hire him. We are delighted with our new bathroom & all who visit say how lovely it is & how great a finish.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience of Eryk, which is disappointing given all the good feedback on this site. Perhaps the other people who hired Eryk also didn't leave feedback before because they had bad experiences too. Overall, while Eryk was very kind and helpful in getting the project moving, it took 6 weeks instead of 2 and was left unfinished because I couldn't bear to have him come back any more and make it worse. I ended up getting in new builders to do the finishing off. The work wasn't up to scratch and rather than sort it, Eryk said I was being fussy or blamed the materials (like handles on kitchen units all being at different heights and tiles not being evenly laid). Eryk was the most expensive of all my quotes, but he assured me that this was because the work would be of the highest quality. The cost was materials excluded and for a job quoted at £6,650, I ended up paying around £15k to Eryk for labour and basic materials (i.e. not including items I purchased direct such as the bathroom suite, tiles, kitchen units and worktops, etc.). Trying to decipher the receipts Eryk hands over to work out what has actually been used on your property and what has been used elsewhere is impossible. Even now I am noticing things like 1 of the 5 downlights in my bathroom doesn't match the other four. Eryk apparently had them "left over" from a previous job. I hope that my experience with Eryk was unique and that he has delivered for everyone else.

A very thorough job, completed to high quality spec. They even cleaned the flat once they were done, right down to cleaning the windows i enjoyed working with Eric and Anthony. Thanks for all the hard work.
