We chose to get a quote from Templer Bathrooms after reading all the positive feedback on MyBuilder. Kevin gave us lots of design ideas for our bathroom and en-suite re-fit. We knew straight away we wanted to use Kevin as the other plumbers who had given us quotes lacked the ideas, experience and enthusiasm that Kevin has. On our second meeting to discuss the design etc, Kevin was happy to spend time with us to ensure we chose the right materials and also put forward his ideas to help us as much as he could with the planning process. The work took approx three weeks to complete and during this time, Kevin made sure there was as little disruption as possible to our lives, due to us having a young family. Kevin is a very tidy and neat worker, he cleared up every day ensuring no mess was left in the house. We received a phone call every evening from Kevin to check we were happy with how the job was going. Kevin was very helpful and approachable and happy to help us if we did have any queries. We are very happy with our new bathroom and en-suite, it has made our house feel more like a home. They both look very modern and tasteful and just what we wanted. Looking back, the whole process was very staright forward and we are more than happy with the end result. We would not hesitate in using Kevin's services again and would defnatley recommend him, he is a very skilled tradesman who ensures he does an excellent job! Many thanks Kevin. Well what can we say! Found Kevin through previous recommendations on mybuilder and we weren't disappointed. Been thinking about building an ensuite in our attic for over for 2 years, but just hadn't found anyone we had confidence in. That changed when we met Kevin, our house, grade 2 listed and over four floors, it wasn't going to be a straight forward, stress free job. Our main concerns were not compromising the size of the bedroom, incorporating an already installed skylight and avoid a macerator if at all possible. With his design he found solutions to all, firstly he built a false wall to avoid wasting space under the eaves, incorporating the sky light, creating a useful shelf space, a large cupboard for the small room next door whilst still maximising the size of the ensuite without compromising the size of the bedroom, a genius idea. He also managed to get in the soil and waste pipes with very little disruption to the original building both internally and externally, avoiding the need for the noisy (and unwanted) macerator. We have ended up with an ensuite that we couldn't be happier with and looks like it has always been there. The wet walls in the shower look fantastic and we even managed to fit a full size sink. Kevin spent hours with us before he even got the job putting our minds at rest over the design. Kevin communicated at every stage and would always call when we were unable to to catch up at the end of the day to let us know how the day went and his plans for the following day (invaluable and uncommon in most trades). When the original design could be changed for the better he would make suggestions that would cost him time, but gave us the best possible outcome. Kevin also recommended a plasterer and electrician with whom we were not disappointed. Just wish we had found him before we had done the other shower room and bathroom, the ensuite puts them to shame! We would not hesitate to highly recommend. Thank you Kevin.

Excellent job done. Great workmanship, with minimum fuss or mess, completed a day ahead of schedule. We would definitely use Kevin again, and have no hesitation recommending him to others.

I have no hesitation in recommending Kevin to all, a truly a gifted craftsman who discussed all aspects of our work in great detail before and during the project, there were no surprises. I would go as far to say it was a pleasure having him in our home. Prior to posting the job on mybuilder we had designed and found our perfect bathroom, or so we thought. Kevin’s years of expertise as a skilled tradesman came to the fore and he advised us both on design and product and the result was a much better bathroom that we ever could have imagined and enhanced units and more for our money. On his first visit Kevin showed us his plans and we were astonished at extras we could now afford and the space he could provide and all in an inexpensive way. His advice and guidance was provided at each stage of the build and with a courteous approach giving us the time to discuss and consider his mythology. The project went ahead without delay and we were impressed with the way in which he discussed all aspects regardless of what they were small or big in order to ensure we were happy. Electrical aspects of the project were outsourced to a third party who were absolutely outstanding in their approach to the work in hand and so polite. We have been so overjoyed with Kevin's work that we have no hesitation in recommending Kevin to anyone. All in all a great job…thanks Kevin

This job was never straightforward. It was to incorporate a bathroom from another house. The properties are over 100 years old so lots of unknowns. Kevins quote was comparable to the other quotes but decided to hire Kevin from his work history, the feedback, and he came across as a guy that I could work with i.e gut feel. We agreed the scope of the quote and it was made visible what was included and not.Kevin is very clear on his limitations and will not take on his any trade where his skills would be deficient. For example bricklaying. I valued this as it meant that i knew i was going to get a great finish. He worked with me on the initial design, even when i changed my mind a couple of times, always wanting an end product that i would love. As predicted along the way there were a few hidden nasties but again Kev was really flexible in arranging his jobs so that i could deal with these. I work full time so i basically handed the keys to Kev and left him to it. He rang me every night to make sure I was completely happy with the work and told me the plans for the following work which i really appreciated. I am extremely pleased with the end result, it looks great and the standard of work is fantastic . I hired Kev for the utility refit too .A great guy to work with, whose se standard of work is exemplary, takes pride in his work and ensures that the customer is 100% satisfied. THANK YOU KEV !!

I would highly recommend Kevin to family and friends. It has been a true pleasure to have him in our home. He started as a tradesman and left as a friend. Over the years we have dealt with many in the building trade and straight away we could tell that Kevin was a highly skilled craftsman and very experienced in his trade. We had planned our bathroom as we thought with maximum use of space. After measuring up Kevin showed us his plans and we were amazed at the extra floor space and storage that we gained. It was also a more affordable way of doing it. He gave us his feedback of his plans in a very polite manner and gave us time to consider his ideas and to discuss it thoroughly. The installation went very smoothly and he consulted us on the tiniest of details to make sure that we were happy. Kevin also arranged for the electricians to come at a time that was convenient to us. They were excellent and also consulted us in the course of the installation. We were very pleased with the quality of their work. We have been so thrilled with Kevin's work that we have now discussed plans for another project in the near future. We would therefore have no hesitations in recommending Kevin to anyone.

Very pleased with the bathroom that Kevin fitted, very plesant man to deal with. Professional service. Would recommend Kevin to anyone, minor problems fixed with no hassle at all. I needed a whole new bathroom including a fairly large walk in shower. Kevin came to have a look at the job and after spending a couple of hours with me i decided to hire him... from the onset he was very friendly and very informative, he spent time with me to make sure that the items i needed/wanted were the right ones and that it was within budget, nothing seemed to be a bother to him. Every step of the way he explained to me exactly what he was doing and what was to be done next.I am such a nosey person i would often stand and watch but this never phased Kevin at all ... we would chat but he still kept working it never slowed him down. The bathroom is fantastic even with a BIG walk in shower it still looks spacious, bright and airy. Excellent Job. Kevin completely replaced the bathroom in our holiday cottage. This was c/o without me being on site. The work was completed within the 10 days originally arranged. We would have no problem with recommending Kevin.

Very impressed with the work done. Kevin was most helpful, quickly identified the problem. I really appreciated the time he took to explain the problem and the alternative solutions and I did feel I could trust his judgement.
