Steven ticked the three important tradesperson boxes for us - He was very honest, flexible to our wishes and great value for money. On top of that, we didn't mind having him in the property for the week as he was incredibly friendly and personable. Thank you from all our family Steven - you've helped us transform our entire property and on a shoestring budget. Steven from mck joiners & builders, in under a week, installed picture rails throughout the ENTIRE flat, had a partition installed in the kitchen to create a separate pantry room AND laminated many of the floors throughout the flat. Steven was honest and gave great advice, including warning us of a bad-deal on flooring a company was trying to sell us. He recommended a 'hatch' in the pantry ceiling which offers storage space we had never even considered. Mck Joiners & builders are a phone number I promise you'll want to keep!

As said in previous feedback they are punctual, clean and very respectful to people and property all of which I greatly appreciated. They installed a wood burning stove for me, supplied and fitted the flue straight up through the ceiling and out through a "mock" chimney" if they had any problems I was not aware of it - the job was completed safely, within a good time scale and managed a few other small jobs that I never managed to complete, and for that so very happy with. One of which has just been noticed by my husband on skype! Back to the chimney, I had my first small fire and am delighted with the results, no issues and my living room is all the more cosy for their input. I would also like to thank them for there own helpful ideas and tips which made it a more satisfactory result. Thank you for the time taken to give the quote and to complete the job, another happy customer and I would be happy to find more work for you!

Hired Steven to do kitchen for me but he and his team made such a good job, that they ended up doing bedroom as well which was quite a major task as ceiling, walls, window , skirting were all needing done due to state of room which had been like that for over 6 years. Steven also done my hall flooring and plastered hall. I cannot praise Steven and his team enough as his quote was more than reasonable and was infact the best quote I have ever received from a builder. Steven and his team were punctual. Hard-working, honest, reliable and best of all the cleaned up at the end of each day. Steven also done some jobs that were extra which he did not charge me for, he also made suggestions concerning the plans when we came across an obstacle. If you want peace of mind, reliability and a good priced quote I would highly recommend Steven mack. I will be getting him to do rest of my flat once I have more finances.

I was really impressed by Stephen's professionalism. He arrived to start the job when he said he would and always replied promptly to my many emails (!!!)His team is also excellent and they have finished my job in a day, and that included quite a tricky plastering job. The leak in the roof is repaired and Stephen also did a bit extra on the chimney roughcast. Thank you for an excellent job! I can thoroughly recommend him and his team.

Steven fitted my fireplace insert and cut and fitted a slate hearth then reattached my mantle to the wall - it's absolutely beautiful, delighted with the job he did. Also very clean and tidy. Thanks Steven!

Absolutely delighted with the work carried out by mck joiners & builders. Stephen even took the time to explain how to get the best out of my stove. The builders arrived when they said they would, worked hard with no lunch break and cleaned up once they were finished for the day. I'm a woman on my own. I was treated with respect. I would not hesitate in recommending mck. Thank you so much.
