Steven and his team did a great job in our kitchen. Got our back door bricked up and a new bigger window put in which looks great. Also got all our sockets moved ready for our new kitchen to be fitted and the outside wall roughcast. The kitchen walls and ceiling were all plastered and we were really impressed with all the work done. The job was well organised and when they were finished everything was tidied up and all rubbish was taken away. Really happy and would definitely use them again for any work we need done!

Steven and his team were reliable and worked on through the adverse weather conditions. Very helpful even when faced with wrong flashings for roof lights, our mistake! We would have no problems recommending Steven and would certainly contact this firm again for future work. Many thanks for all your hard work, we hope you eventually dry out! Excellent service provided. We needed somebody to damp proof, put in new widows, repair several walls, and plaster and finish joinery work. Steven was polite, business like, arrived on time and was endlessly patient as we changed our minds, added bits onto the job, and generally made life more complicated for him! He explained the best solutions to our damp and building requirements, and as were unable to be on site during the job, sent photos and updates of his progress. The work was completed to a high standard, and we are delighted with the finished result. What was a damp, derelict cottage is now ready for redecoration. I'd hire this company again, definitely.

My experience, like others who have used MCK was a positive one, thank you MCK. They renovated a kitchen extension including taking down a wall, installing a kitchen and laying new floorboards. Their quote was competitive and good value, they started when they said they would and finished well ahead of schedule. They have a positive can do attitude, nothing was a problem to them. Their work was of high standard and streamlined.... electrics, plastering, plumbing etc. The turned up on time every day, sometimes working late without any breaks and tidied up at the end of each day (even mopping floors and work surfaces)!! Any unavoidable mess in places like the garden was reinstated at the end of the job. They have followed up any minor issues making sure I was happy with everything. I like other satisfied customers would highly recommend using MCK and would hire these guys for any future jobs. I am hoping Steven will upload images of the job ‘before and after’ once I have decorated the kitchen.

We are delighted with the job done by MCK Builders. They converted our former kitchen into a TV room. The price was good value, they started on schedule and finished ahead - and we asked for a few extra jobs to be done, which they were very accommodating about. Nothing was a problem. The standard of work was really high - they built us custom-built bookshelves which are perfect. They installed and tested all our AV equipment and basically took care of everything joinery, electrical and plumbing work involved in the job. They turned up promptly every day and tidied up after themselves every day - they even let the dog potter about with them while they worked! They've been on the phone after completion, checking we're happy with everything. We're already planning the next job they'll do for us. I can't recommend them highly enough.
