The worst experience of my life, 7 months to do a job that was quoted as 5 weeks and still not complete. This man has used my home as a dumping ground for other jobs, walked off the project for weeks on end, removed property to use for other jobs and make the life of both me and my young child as difficult as possible. Good luck with your projects, feel free to ignore my review and hire Mr Sheppard, but I would bet the last little bit of money he’s left me with that you’ll regret it. Mr Baker, A very angry customer.

As usual, Mr Shephard provided a top-class finish and close to estimated cost. He is now our preferred building tradesman.

Andy was engaged for several jobs at our home, the first of which was to strip old wallpaper, make new plaster and then paint the walls, skirting and ceilings of our hall, landing and porch plus each internal door in the house. His quote was not the cheapest of the 3 that we shortlisted from those that responded to the job on 'MyBuilder' but we were impressed by his knowledge and understanding of our requirements so we went with him. The job overran slightly but the finish was excellent and remains so. The second job came one year later when we wanted to refurbish our lounge / diner and instal a set of bi-fold doors. This required Andy to liaise with the manufacturer of the frame and doors. The work was again done to a high standard and we called Andy back for a third job to strip and redecorate one of the bedrooms. He is reliable, flexible and reasonable in his pricing so I would have no hesitation in hiring Andy again and would thoroughly recommend him.

I purchased a 2 bedroom bungalow from auction that required total renovation. Andy provided a reasonable quote that was within budget and well broken down. I left him the keys with the view to starting the work on my return from a 2 week holiday but he surprised me but carrying out the bulk of the demolition whilst I was away. He installed a new kitchen, bathroom, flooring, windows and cupboards for me and the work was of a very good standard. Andy often went beyond the call of duty and would do lots of extra little things like bringing his garden tools to mow and clean up the lawn, or picking up paint/extra things for me at a moments notice. Nothing was too much trouble and although the work overran a little, I was incredibly pleased with the finished result. I would definitely recommend Andy to others and wouldn't hesitate to use him again for future projects.

Good job done quickly

Andy is a fantastic builder his attention to detail is second-to-none. Worked tirelessly & in bad weather & a really nice person, turned up on time, worked late & was happy to do extras at a moments notice. Would thoroughly recommend him & would ask him back to do more work as & when needed.

So pleased with Andy's work. It took longer than originally intended but we are thrilled with the results. He did more than was planned with lots of extras. I will be calling Andy for more jobs as he seems to be able to do everything!

Andy and his mate done a brilliant job of my fence in the worst weather ever. Good job at a good price easily recommend him to anyone ,in fact i already have so thanks again Andy.

Very pleased with Andy, in both the work undertaken and his professional, helpful and friendly manner. In fact, we engaged Andy for a second tranch of works and will be certainly will be using for further work in the future. Would highly recommend.
