Quick and very professional. No job was too small!

We can't recommend Philip enough. Arrived on time, courteous, worked hard, kept the place tidy, cleaned up after themselves and there was very little disruption. Their workmanship is excellent and the quality of the windows is second to none. Additionally, the price was extremely competitive. We have a number of smaller jobs that we have asked Philip back to do. Very positive experience and highly recommended, 10/10.

Phil replaced an old wooden garage window with uPVC. He did it quickly, to a good standard and left no mess. I'd hire him again.

Phil recently replaced our old wooden front door with a composite door manufactured by Veka. Whereas some other door installers baulked at the narrowness of our front door entry and claimed noone would sell such a narrow door/frame, Phil had 2 suppliers that could both provide doors to the frame size we required. The job completion was slightly delayed - during installation Phil was not happy with the smoothness of one of the latches, and there was an issue with the top glass. Instead of installing anyway, Phil arranged for replacements to be sent and came back to complete the job to his and our satisfaction. Overall, the finish of the door and installation was excellent, no external damage to the render around the frame, and a drastic improvement in audible road noise thanks to the improved door. Would hire again.

It has been a pleasure to deal with Phil from start to finish. He supplied and fitted 2 doors for us (one composite and one PVC) as well as replacing a couple of misted units and relocating an existing door. From our first contact, he was able to provide a rough, indicative quote before visiting to offer a formal quote and explain all the possible options. Phil is an easy-going chap and was happy to answer all our questions in a clear and friendly manner without ever being pushy & trying to force a sale. His quote was very competitive and we are very pleased with the quality of the doors supplied and the fit and finish achieved by Phil. He took real care with the work, cleaned up & removed rubbish & we particularly liked the fact that the person selling us the doors is also the person fitting them, so there is a continuity of service. On the basis of our experience, we would therefore be confident in recommending Phil to others and he will certainly be our first choice for future glazing projects that we have in the pipeline.

I Posted the job and Phil got back to me for extra details of the job. Phil then gave a competitive quote within a few days. The job was to fit window restrictors to 3 bedroom windows. Phil arrived on time, completed the job very efficiently and left no mess. I was very pleased with the finished work and Phil’s good communication. Sharpes provided our cheapest quote by a decent margin (the others felt speculative, and we would have had to negotiate on price before taking them up - whereas this felt like a good honest "our first price is our best price" sort of approach). They fitted the windows in the agreed time-period, and with a minimum of fuss. We're really happy with the quality. I would recommend Sharpes to anyone else looking for doors/windows.
