James Ruddlesdin sanded 2 bedroom floors and laid and sanded new floorboards in a 3rd bedroom. He listened carefully to my requirements, and did an outstanding job at a very reasonable price. He was pleasant, well-organised, fast, and caused a minimum of noise and disruption. He even did something I thought was not possible: removing and flooring over a broken tileplate. He is very knowledgeable and gave excellent advice on different kinds of floor finish (I went with clear wax in the end). I absolutely have no hesitation in recommending James wholeheartedly. Steve is an incredibly reliable chap who works around the problems thrown at him. We are thrilled with our new kitchen and cannot recommend Steve highly enough. A master of all trades he has tiled, laid flooring, fitted a sink, taps and new worktops. He has also boxed in an unsightly hole in our cupboards and has worked around other services which popped up around his work.
