Rob did a great job on the exterior paintwork of my house - the painting of my door and windows. It was a tricky job as much of the wood first needed making good. Rob is extremely knowledgable and skilled, which is apparent from his initial assessment of the job (professional, fast, in-depth, the detail communicated in a very helpful way) to the completion and clean-up. By a stroke of luck, he was able to be amazingly flexible with the timing of the job, which for me was invaluable as I hoped to be able to have the job completed within 2-3 weeks. In fact Rob completed it in 3 days from posting on My Builder, allowing all the drying time that the paint required between coats (the weather co-operated). I am very happy with the job, and the whole experience of dealing with Rob both beforehand and during the job was a delight. He is punctual, honest, well-organised and very hard-working, and while always professional, he is also a lovely person to have around: with a great sense of humour, he is positive, kind and helpful, going out of his way to do the best possible job, using all his considerable initiative and expertise. I found Rob completely reliable and trustworthy, and the cost of the work was very reasonable, as well as accurate in terms of the estimate. I would always contact Rob first in the future if I needed decorating of any kind, and recommend him very highly and with no reservations.
