James Mccallum and the Roof Maintenance company were a refreshing change from previous experiences with other builders. James came out on time as agreed, gave a realistic yet competitive quote and started and finished the job on time and on budget. The quality of work is great and they tidy up after themselves. I would have no hesitation in asking James to quote for any new work as he took the time to explain the various work/materials involved and he will happily take photographs of the areas which are only accessible via ladder/scaffold so that you as a customer can see what you are paying for.

James was quick to get in contact and provide us a free (very competitive) quote. Once we accepted the job the work was completed quickly and to a high standard. It was obvious James and his team were commited to doing a good job and they were friendly and approachable. Would use this company again in the future.

James did an excellent job on our roof. He came out on 3 occasions to complete the work as he was hampered by the bad weather (snow and wind). He had to stop after 20 mins on the first occasion due to snow but he made sure that the roof was as water tight as he could manage. He came back the next day as promised the fix the slates and cement the edging. He then came back two days later (a Sunday) to complete the job, having let the cement dry properly. He was very knowledgeable about the work and have us a very reasonable quote. The storm damage to our roof had occurred due to a previous job not being done properly so we were very wary when trying to get another roofer in. No friends or family could recommend a good roofer to us (which is a bit worrying!!) so this is why we turned to MyBuilder. We cannot praise James enough and I would urge anyone to hire him. So much so we are getting him to do more work for us on another property. Thank you James.

James carried out the work on my property in an extremely professional and competent manner. He explained what needed to be done and quoted a reasonable price. He has fixed a problem which others seem to have struggled with and, baed on my experience, I would definitely recommend him.

As well as getting James to carry out the minor roof repair I got him to carry out the required harling of the whole house and would just like to say I was extremely happy with the price and the quality of the workmanship was excellent. James is very well organised and ensures that his team know exactly what is expected of them and he keeps you informed every step of the way. I would not hesitate to ask James to carry out any other work and would recommend him to anyone. I found it extremely encouraging that a young man can be so professional in the way he conducts his business. Good job, very well done!

James was very helpful and informative he gave me choices of materials and costings .He turned up on time and always kept in touch keeping me updated on the works progress.His work was of a good standard and I have asked him to do more work for me harling.I would recommend James and his work force for roofing work.

James repaired a large crack in our front external stonework. He also repaired the fittings around our windows with mastic. James was pleasant and professional throughout the repairs. He completed the job in a good amount of time and at a competitive rate. Overall, we're very pleased.

James did a good job on the repair and showed up when he said he would. Would definitely hire him again in the future.
